Last year GC Business Finance raised over £4,000 for their chosen charities, The Christie and The Haemophilia Society, most of which came from their annual charity walk. This year the team are looking to take on the Yorkshire 3 peaks and are well on their way to smashing last year’s target whilst continuing to contribute to their chosen charities.
Last year the team climbed Snowdon but this year they’re stretching their legs further by doing the Yorkshire 3 peak challenge on Thursday 11 October. The 24 miles walk is expected to take around 12 hours.
The Haemophilia Society aims to make sure people affected by Haemophilia and their families receive the best possible treatment care and support. Haemophilia and related disorders affect around 15,000 people in the UK and occur in all racial groups; while von Willebrand's affects up to 1% of the total population, many of whom are currently undiagnosed.
The Christie charity provides enhanced services over and above what the NHS funds for more than 44,000 cancer patients treated at The Christie every year. Your support can help us to fund life-changing and potentially life-saving projects that will benefit cancer patients both now and in the future.
The GC BF team are doing one final push to drive up the money raised so far, so if you’re able to please support them in taking on this tremendous challenge by donating to the charities through their JustGiving pages, links below.Back
